US Shipbrokers, as exclusive
broker for the owner, is excited to announce that the Cruise Vessel M/V Ola
Esmeralda has been chartered by the UN/World Food Program
for accommodation use in Port au Prince Haiti. The vessel will arrive
tomorrow for her deployment for up to six months to house and feed UN Peace
Keepers as the rainy season approaches. The M/V Ola Esmeralda
ex Black Prince of Fred Olsen Cruises, was set to begin her cruise
schedule for her new owners on the coast of Venezuela. She was to
offer Three and Four day cruises for the Venezuelan Domestic market.
The owner of the vessel (whom we
also sold the vessel) also stated as follows of US Shipbrokers service in
the deal "I would like to, personally and on behalf of us all, to
express our gratitude for your substantial contribution and effort in
securing this charter. Once again you have shown resilience, professionalism
and delivered".
