Arriving in Norway

03.08.07 -- The 40m FlyingCat vessel, m/v Flying Viking II, has arrived the yard in Omastrand, Norway.

Approximately 70 vessels of the 40m FlyingCat design have been delivered world wide, making the design to the most selling design ever in the fast ferry business.
From time to time, a vessel of this classic design is available for sale as second hand vessel. We expect this 1993 built vessel to be an attractive alternative for several operators looking for a high quality second hand vessel.

As an added value, the vessel has already the hull reinforcement needed for installation of the Motion Dampening System (MDS).

The vessel is currently registered in Panama Registry.

Fjellstrand can assist the buyer with up-grading of the vessel in Norway or in a local ship yard wherever this vessel will be sold. Our highly qualified After Sales team will assist the buyer with technical assistance and supply of any spare parts needed.
